Join us every Monday from 6:30-8:30 PM and pick from our Mending Buffet of supplies to mend your garments with.

Intro to darning knitwear

Learn the invaluable skill of darning knitwear. In this class we will explore yarn weights, color and two types of darning - woven & Scotch darning - both techniques that create a creative and visible repair to your knits.

All supplies including damaged knitwear included.

Learn Boro - the Japanese method of patching garments & utilizing sashiko stitching to create visually appealing, wabi-sabi repairs.

Learn how to invisibly repair your knitwear using Swiss darning - we will review various Swiss darning techniques (you’ve probably seen these videos all over social media!) and materials appropriate for commercial and hand knit items.
